Just so I can keep track, here's a list of all the novels, short stories and non-fiction books I've written, excluding employee handbooks, training manuals, and - oddly - poetry and filk. These are all first or second drafts "finished" but not edited or re-written as many so desperately need, definitely not published!
1. Anamee (This is my Never Ending Short Story, also called NESSie. It's a short story because I say it is, but as it currently has over 680,000 words, I'll classify it here as a novel): A Lost Colony Novel which may become a series: Generations ago, a colony ship lost its way and landed on Anamee, a world inhabited by indifferent and vastly superior natives who treated the humans as just another part of the wildlife. The Anamee are a metamorphosing species with five stages: Child, Changling, Adult, Larva, Elder. Taya is a Shield - a human whose brain has mutated so it can block the lethal radiations of the Changling and Larval natives during their Coming of Age. Human and Anamee are beginning to suspect there's more to their relationship when an Earth Ship discovers them and attempts to "rescue" them - and Taya is the catalyst of it all. (can be set in the same universe as #s 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 17, and 26)
2. Broken Wings (this is fanfic, but I love it anyway - it's Criminal Minds fanfic): Spencer Reed, cast once more as an angel by religious fanatics, is kidnapped and must rescue an innocent who is being crucified on camcorder over the internet as a test of his angelic nature while his team races to find them.
3. A Thousand Days to Freedom In one radical act, Varg freed Syr from the genetic bondage of her people. Now, he must teach her the ways of his people, both the people on his ship and the people of his homeworld, while guiding her as she discovers the meaning of freedom for herself and her homeworld.
4. Alliances An orphan now crewing on a Free Trader is lured by riddles to discover her origins, and in the process, may disrupt the peace of the galaxy and bring great profit or great disaster to her crewmates.
5. When Trees Take Flight George, a retired anthropologist and novice birdwatcher, falls in love with an elusive woman who is a World Walker, traveling between dimensions in an attempt to save her family and her heritage.
6. Juxtaposies A new shipment of colonists arrives from Earth to the profitable but still fragile Dexaclan colony, bringing immediate trouble in the form of a murder, secret political agendas, an environmental crisis, and gnomes.
7. Legendary Notes Two sisters spend their retirement visiting amusement parks and rating them for their own pleasure. At this one, they are sucked into a mystery of missing clowns, ride commentary that targets them, a labor dispute, a thunder storm, food, and notes. The clues are encrypted into the story, and if the reader can decipher the code, they will learn what the solution is before the denouement.
8. Riddle Me Dee MayJay, a famed historian poet, finds herself embroiled in the center of a dispute between species, alternately held hostage and rescued, and must negotiate her way to safety and help the peoples create a workable treaty.
9. Blood Bond Two interstellar species, each claiming the same planet for colonization, agree to reinstate an ancient and almost forgotten ritual. Tariel, daughter of the king of Agarwaen and the Goddess Gudora, is Chosen to represent the Argarwaen in this ritual. A neutral ship is selected to host the ritual and observe it. As Tariel works to fulfill her side of the ritual, she learns interstellar politics and gains a loyal group of supporters. Even the adversarial Terukan begin to believe this ancient ritual will really work, will avert the brewing intergalactic war they inadvertently precipitated with their private dispute over a relatively insignificant planet. Will Tariel, the Chosen, find the strength to complete the Blood Bond?
10. Misty Sphere of Doooom When you toss a transdimensional hairy frog into the middle of a science fiction convention, stir in a spoiled alien fanboy, and season it with chaos, do you get crottled greeps?
11. A Heart of Stone As an avid gardener, Shai Lightfoot collects grotesques and gargoyles. Her latest acquisition, from a French monastery, is more than it seems. Away from the inhibiting influence of the monastery, it resumes its former life and seeks revenge upon those who trapped it in stone for centuries.
12. Blood Stewards A zombie virus rampages throughout the world, leaving only 1 in 12 alive and fully human. With their food supply drastically reduced, the vampires must help them find a cure or themselves starve, and they must do it without revealing themselves to the remaining humans. It's not easy, being humankind's secret steward.
13. Chinaberry Child the fictional biography of a rather ordinary woman living a very extraordinary life filled with pirates, plunder, fairies, wenches, pixies, aliens, skeletons, and the recurring chinaberry.
14. Kiss the Rose Malcolm, a photographer with dreams of becoming a reporter, meets Exie, a woman attempting to repair a rift in time, in a graveyard where a fresh rose has been left at an anonymous headstone daily for over 100 years. He becomes obsessed with the mystery of the rose and Exie.
15. Better than Unicorns A Regency lord from England is blown across space and time in an experiment conducted by one of his proteges and finds himself in a post-apocalyptic America now divided into numerous city-states and nations. He's rescued by a woman painted green, whom he mistakes for a dryad, and is taken to a nation composed of Rennies, SCA, Fairy-Folk, and Gamers, ruled by a constitutional matriarchy, who have the technical chops and the determination to defend their nation at all costs.
16. Ballad of Rainey Downes This is the story of a cattle drover who is more than he seems and his trail boss and the odd, alien, adventures they have on the cattle trail.
17. The Heart's Silence A military spaceship gets sucked through a space vortex that strands them more than 30 years away from known space. Nazeen Corazon was a repairman on the ship, working on the ship's robots and AI, and has been overlooked in the survival of the ship. Nonetheless, she continues with her work, and in the process, falls in love with the AI. There's growing distrust between the organics and the mechanicals on the ship in spite of Nazeem's best efforts. She has to out herself to resolve the conflict.
18. Vesta's Hearth This is a bakery like no other, for here, you can meet anyone and anything can happen. A cookie can change fate, and a muffin can save a life. Don't even ask what the bread does at night.
19. Dragons, Like Clouds A post-apocalyptic story of 2 children who bring tech back to the world.
20. Woe is I This is the story of Walks Far on Toes, who, with a small band of goblins, tries to get the attention of the Game Master so they can have a chance at becoming Players, and not be forced to forever be low-level, easily killed monsters guarding a treasure they can never use.
21. Star Bounty Terry, a child of privilege taken by a rogue bounty hunter in a case of mistaken identity, is rescued by the Grey Fellows. This experience leads her to become a bounty hunter herself, and she's inducted into the Grey Fellows, a secret society of lawful bounty hunters who abide by a Code and are affiliated with the Cons-Tech-Lation - rogue techies who design most of their tools.
22. Thrice Betrayed Simon was driven by the voice of an angel called Gabriel. When Simon died, Gabriel resurrected him, and Simon lived to father Judas. Judas, believing his father was reborn to father him so he could bring the Word of Gabriel to Jesus, tries to do just that. Jesus hears the Voice of God and can't hear Judas at all. This leads to three betrayals that deprive the world of the Voice of God, the Word of Gabriel, and the technology of the angels.

24. Mindy Sue's Special Sauce It always begins in a trailer park down south, doesn't it? Why do aliens always make First Contact with some trailer park floozy? That's what Dr. Brain wants to know. And she wants to know why the aliens never come back.
25. Sound of Silence Tagua was a Bargain Bride, a desert woman chosen to reside among the mountain people to enforce the treaty between Sand and Sky so the secrets of the desert remained secrets and the two people remained allies against the Seafolk and the Plainsmen. The mountain people had long forgotten their role in protecting the magic hidden in the desert, but the Bargain Brides never forgot. Tagua, who used silence as her tool and her weapon, must learn to wield it well when the Four Peoples were invaded by a fifth people from beyond the sky.
26. Pizza Boy in Space Ben is a young man when he is suddenly orphaned and left with his parents' trade ship, a young passenger, and a hold full of flour and cheese and freeze-dried vegetables. He saves the ship from pirates and thanks his would-be rescuers (they got there too late for anything but clean-up) by feeding them pizzas, the only food he knew how to make. The asteroid belters who rescued him strongly suggest they'd appreciate having a pizza delivery service, and that's how Ben becomes the Pizza Boy in Space, with his adopted little sister. Together, they save the earth, the solar system, the galaxy, and the universe, making First Contact with several aliens, finding True Love, and discovering new pizza toppings.
