The heading boldly proclaims "Three years without oil" and I expected to read about the extremes someone went through to live a totally oil-free life.
How disappointing to learn it really only meant he spent three years with a reduced consumption of gasoline and motor oil. He still extensively used plastics, which are oil based, and wore clothes that look as if they were synthetics - most made of oil-based threads.
I suppose the headline "Three Years with Less Oil" isn't as interesting, but it is certainly more honest.
