No Conestoga

I will not be at Conestoga XIV this year. I am going to have to pay someone to take down some dangerously dead limbs on the Zombie Maple because it will require special equipment to prevent them from falling on my neighbor's house. I'd hoped to be able to take these limbs out myself with my trusty chain saw, but it's really a three-person job using equipment I don't have. And won't buy because I'm not likely to need it again. That means hiring people who already own the right equipment and that hire will eat up all the money I set aside for attending the Con.

SoonerCon is coming up in June, though, and I'll be running the Green Room again - I've already had official notification! Huzzah!

And then there's FenCon this fall.

And there's always next year for Conestoga, right?
