"Oh yeah, it's a "hate campaign" when people want the truth known and responsibility taken for pedophilia within the Catholic Church, and are angry about the red herrings tossed in their path - like the Pope's attitude toward same sex marriage and abortion. We all know those are different issues, but sadly, it seems the cardinals conflate them all into one in an attempt to shove the pedophilia back out of sight. Or at least, to bury it among a lot of other heated issues.

News flash, ranking authorities in the Catholic Church - anger is not the same as hatred. You seriously need to address the anger and the root of that anger - harming children - because your parishioners need to know you are still a conduit between God and them. All your teachings have taught about the sweet innocence of children, and now here are priests who prey upon that sweet innocence. By covering up these predatory acts, you are telling all your parishioners that God loves children in that perverted way, a way your parishioners deem Satanic and evil.

I see a new Inquisition coming in your ranks and perhaps a new and violent schism in your Church if this continues to be handled in such an ungodly fashion.
