You know what? This may publicize your position, but it does little to convert people to it.
In fact, all it does is make me roll my eyes and ignore the childishness of it all.
It's not funny, it's not in good fun, it's not cute, it's not informative, it's not life-altering, it's not kind, it's not well-mannered, and it's definitely not transformative. It often crosses the boundary of vandalism and definitely crosses into harassment territory. Recently, it's been getting into assault and battery territory, which I find totally counterproductive.
I think a "laissaz faire" attitude is far more conducive to allowing a free and open exchange of ideas. If we could talk about our political and philosophical stances without hurling insults and flaming chili pepper pies or flinging poop of various animals, maybe we'd listen to each other more.
I will not listen to anyone who chooses to express their message with violence or vandalism.
Want my attention - don't serve "vegetarian hot dogs on a bun" or "veggie burgers on a bun, serve "vegetable tubes in a wrap" or "veggie patties in a pita [1], instead of wearing leather shoes they should wear hemp or cotton or even rubber shoes (but not plastic, plastic comes from oil which is both damaging to life and comes from living organism[2]), and instead of engaging in actions that harm living beings[3], they did things that promoted life.
If they can't live their professed lifestyle in all aspects of their life ( and not just their diet), then they have no right to try to force that lifestyle on others through acts of vandalism, violence, and ill manners.
[1]Buns are yeast-raised. I keep yeasts as pets. As an omnivore, I reserve the right to eat what I raise, but as vegetarians, they don't have the right to eat animals someone keeps as a beloved pet.

[3] Humans are also living beings, harming humans , in my opinion, harms their cause.
