Intersting pictures. If we go by the definition of UFO as "unknown flying object", they most certainly qualify. If we go by the definition of "aliens in earth's airspace", well, that's different and at this time, we need more information.

The article says he waited a few days before photgraphing the sights. I wonder if they occurred after he took the pictures, too?

And did other people get pictures?
