You can tell how far from the hearing world I've moved when I can't recall what some of the sounds are and don't know the newer ones at all: the ringtones from AT&T, T-Mobile, and Treo, the vibrating phone (I know what it feels like, but not the sound), the jingles of Home Depot, State Farm, or McDonald's.
