First off, none of my dogs talk like that.
Second, those rote responses would get boring after a while.
Now, on the quite other hand, I think this is a cool idea for keeping track of your pet's activities, particularly if you have a pet who's misbehaving when you're gone. You'd be able to track and find the trouble times and work out a solution to make you and your pet happier.
I think that would be a good thing.
All that said, I'm not getting one of these for Xoco (Itzl doesn't need one; as a service dog, he's always with me). She spends most of her day sleeping when I'm gone and if she fusses, she at least doesn't make a mess or tear things up. She has plenty of food, toys, water, and the cats and Rhapsody for companionship.
