Why do people send emails without confirming the correct spelling of the email address?

Especially when it is a person's real name (firstname.lastname @ house.gov or something similar)?

Then, they have to call and it's always the person who answers the phone's fault that the email bounced back as undeliverable. The sender of the email couldn't possibly have gotten it wrong. Why would nanan.smmith @ yanoo.com go through when the name is ann.smith @ yanno.com?

Is it too much to ask people to check their spelling before they send emails, and then, please, don't blame the person who answers the phone for their typos.

It's even sadder when they think they've spelled it right, and they probably have, they just have the wrong name (susan.jones instead of the correct suzanne.smith).

It's still not the person who answers the phone's fault.
