Someone has an alarm going off in the maintenance office and the security officer is least in sight.
Itzl is alerting on it and letting me know it's not stopping. Where is that security officer?
I called Maintenance, since it's his office, and he said he'd be right back.
Yanno, one would think that security would be around to deal with things like this.
Ah - it seems to have stopped. Itzl's not alerting any more. That or he figures it's OK since we went and looked and didn't see anything dangerous, no flashing lights, no imminent disaster.
I wonder if Maintenance left his cell phone in his office again? He did that once before and Itzl alerted on it. Maintenance said he has a siren ring tone because that particular phone is only for emergencies, so of course Itzl will alert on it when it goes off.
He alerts on the cell phone my sister makes me carry, but only because it startles him. She's the only one who calls it and she doesn't call often. We usually send emails. I've never used it myself, but I hand it out to others to use if they need to make calls. It's pretty useless for me since I can't hear it or on it and she disabled the texting for it. I haven't quite made the decision to get a text only cell phone, mostly because I can't justify spending over $50 a month for something I rarely use.
When I do decide, I'll have to spend time training Itzl to alert on it.
