Now there's an airline where having a ticket won't guarantee you a seat on the plane. They're calling the standing room only area "vertical seats". They claim to have a plan for implementing seat belts.

So, when you buy a plane ticket, you have to (depending on the airline), pay to get on the plane, pay to have any kind of luggage, pay to use the toilets, and now, pay to have a real sit down seat with a real seat belt and other safety gear.
