Between the front door and the car, I stopped to harvest breakfast and sides for lunch: a full pint of strawberries, some sage, sorrel, and rosemary for my left-over chicken a la king, lettuces, carrots, radishes for a salad, mint and monardas for tea, and some roses, daisies and irises to ornament my desk.
This is why I love gardening in the front yard. Talk about take-out!
