Bigger Paycheck?

Really? Paychecks are bigger? Mine is down below what it was 7 years ago. That doesn't include the down-turn in my royalty checks, which have become minuscule, making my overall income disastrously less than it was a year ago.

I don't know anyone except legislators (who get to give themselves payraises and so they always do) and top level management who are getting pay raises. It's not trickling down. Just like the bank bailout isn't trickling down to bank customers.
