Ummm - confession time - I don't comment often because
1) someone else already said it, often better than I would,
2) anything I have to say would be obvious and thus stupid,
3) too much time has passed since you posted and anything I had to say was rendered irrelevant,
4) I can't think of anything other than banalities and rather than inflict that on you, I say nothing,
5) what you said sparked a line of thought too long for a comment so I made a blog post of it instead,
6) whatever I might say sounds (or worse, is) whiny, or
7) I'd say something snarky and/or mean and so it's best I say nothing at all.
As you can see, that leaves very little for me to say at your blog. It's not that I don't want to say something, it's that it's ditto-heading, dull, past it's prime, stupid, lengthy, whiny, or mean. You don't want any of that, I'm sure. So, I rarely comment.
And if people don't comment here, I assume it's for much the same reasons I don't comment - projection, eh?
But I do read every blog on my reading list every day, at least once a day.
Just so you know.
