I love this little machine. It makes a single serving of granite, sorbet, frozen yogurt, or ice cream in less than 10 minutes.
The only bad thing about it is the paddle, which is terribly fragile. Mine broke the first time I used it. Apparently, this is a known issue, because you can buy replacement paddles quite easily. I think they are a bit expensive - the entire machine cost me $20 (now it's $30) and the replacement paddles are $10 - but I have some ideas for making the paddles less fragile. The second paddle lasted several months. I just ordered another paddle and I'll see if my life-extending ideas for it work.
If it does, then I'll whole-heartedly recommend this device for those who love small frozen treats.
The German in me giggles.
Is why my hearing loss isn't as obvious as it might otherwise be.

It's been a good day today.
It was 50ºF at sunrise, there's a light breeze. The weather has only gotten better.
The construction workers at work are having fun with their job today.
The mail carrier had the answers to all my mail-related questions.
When I went to Burger King for lunch, they gave me an order of fries and an extra burger I hadn't ordered. When I pointed this out to them, they said, "It's a gorgeous day outside, enjoy it!" So I gave the burger to a panhandler I passed, and he cried. He said no one was giving him anything today and he was so hungry. So I gave him the fries, too, along with a bottle of the water I keep in the car to pass out to panhandlers on really hot days. He devoured it all before I was out of sight.
My friends may be having minor issues, but none of them have anything seriously wrong, nothing that time, a little effort, and maybe a little money won't fix.
Every day should be as nice as today.
Nice matters.
